Reconstruction of Upper Extremity Using Pedicled Latissimus Dorsi Myocutaneous Island Flap and Skin Graft after Necrotizing Fasciitis: A Case Report

Necrotizing fasciitis of the upper extremities is a severe, life-threatening condition, potentially resulting in amputation or death absence prompt and aggressive surgical treatment. Reconstruction eventually required after adequate debridement, patients are often referred to plastic surgeon for this purpose. Herein, we present case patient with extensive soft tissue defects on extremity fasciotomy necrotizing fasciitis. We successfully performed pedicled latissimus dorsi myocutaneous island flap, full-thickness skin graft, split-thickness graft patient. After 2 months, did not have any wound problems could carry out motion.
